FAFSA Night 2/11/16
Please mark your calendars.  FAFSA Night is February 11, 2016 from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. in the WSHS library.  This is NOT a presentation.  This is an online FAFSA completion help session.  Parents will need to bring their completed tax returns from 2014-15 or 2015-16, whichever is available to complete the online FAFSA.  Please enter through door 17 on the students' parking lot side of the building.
Attention all 12th grade students interested in attending Northern Virginia Community College next year. There will be a field trip on Thursday, March 10th from 8:45-1pm to the Woodbridge Campus of NOVA. This will be an exciting opportunity for you to tour the campus and learn more about what Nova has to offer. Lunch will be provided. Please see Ms. Gomez in the Counseling Office to get your permission slip. All slips must be returned with a parent signature no later than Monday, March 7th
After-School Procedures at WSHS
To ensure the safety of all WSHS students and staff, all students must be under supervision of a teacher, coach, or sponsor if they are in the building after 2:30 p.m.  Study Hall will be held in the Upper Cafeteria from 2:30-5:00, Monday-Friday, for students who need someplace to wait for an event to start, or a ride to pick them up.  Students who have events with a start time later than 5:00 are asked to leave the building and return, unless their individual activity sponsor or coach makes arrangements.  Students who are in the building after 2:30 without supervision will receive a referral for being out of bounds.
The WSHS administration, faculty, and staff thank you in advance for helping us keep the building secure at all hours.
Flex Period Information
WSHS uses a bell schedule with rotating "Flex Periods" which are used for additional assistance, review, and enrichment. For more specific information, please consult these documents: Bell Schedule, updated Flex Calendar (February and March), and FAQs/Additional Information.

Sports Concussion Education Training
FINAL SESSION AT WOODBRIGE is scheduled for Wednesday February 17 at 7pm. Doors to the auditorium will close promptly at 6:55pm.
All middle and high school student athletes and their parent/guardian are required to complete an annual Concussion Training according to Prince William County Public School Policy 759. As there are sufficient differences in the way concussions will be handled at the middle school and high school levels, a parent having children in both middle and high schools are required to attend both a middle and a high school presentation. Students and their parent/guardian have two ways to receive this concussion training.

1.) Face to Face Training:
High school parents and students who are entering 9th grade and trying out for a sport for their first time in high school or are new to Prince William County Public schools must attend a face to face concussion training at their respective school. If you are unable to attend a scheduled Face-to-Face Concussion Training, the parent and student have the option to complete an online presentation for the first time participant as a high school student. This option will not be available mid-July, 2015. Click here for the face to face meeting schedule.
2. Online training for returning high school students (those who have attended a HS face to face training) will be available after June 20, 2015. The parent and student are to complete the training together if completing either of the online training.  A completion certificate is printed out, signed by the parent, and turned in to the athletic trainer (or secretary at school). Start the online training.
