WSHS Night with the Potomac Nationals
  Saturday May 30th at 6:35 PM the P-Nats have teamed up with WSHS and want you to bring family and friends out to Pfitzner Stadium to enjoy a night of baseball.  The event is a fundraiser for WSHS, with $4 from each ticket going back to WSHS.

SOL Testing May 5-22
SOL testing begins Tuesday, May 5 through May 22. Students currently enrolled in an SOL course will test during that class period. In keeping with our testing process, bell schedules will be adjusted to account for the testing periods. The testing calendar for the month can be downloaded by clicking hereDaily schedules including lunch assignments are available here.
Make up testing will occur throughout the testing window and May 26-27. Expedited Retakes for students scoring 375-399 on their first attempt will occur June 1 – June 5. Also, please remember that cell phones, electronic devices, backpacks or other personal belongings are NOT permitted in the testing sites. Students must leave all prohibited items in lockers before reporting to the testing site.

Talent Show is May 8!
The talent show will be on Friday, May 8th, at 7:30 pm in the auditorium. Tickets are $3 in advance and $5 at the door. You can get your tickets in advance during all lunch shifts on Friday 5/8 at the security desk or at room 1116 before or after school. Please email Mrs. Gunn at gunnsr@pwcs.edu if you have any questions. This years show is going to be amazing! 
WSHS AP Testing Calendar

Woodbridge High School Advanced Placement students will begin their two-week AP testing session on Monday, May 4, 2015.  These tests are required for all students currently in Advanced Placement classes, and all Advanced Placement students understand that they will be present and on time for their scheduled tests.  Our AP teachers have been working with the students all year to prepare them for this very rigorous testing session.  If you have any questions regarding AP testing, please contact Debbie Floris at florisdl@pwcs.edu.  Click here for a copy of the schedule

YEARBOOK PREORDER SALES HAVE CLOSED!
The deadline to preorder a yearbook has passed.  No more books may be preordered/reserved in advance.
The last chance to purchase a yearbook will be with cash and carry sales, which take place after preordered books are distributed.  The cost at that time will be $80 by cash or check, and books will be sold on a first come, first served basis.  We do expect to sell out again this year!   
More information will be posted once cash and carry dates are finalized.  Again, we cannot accept any more reservations for yearbooks.  Please email Mrs. LaPlant at laplantk@pwcs.edu if you have any questions.

Graduation Class of 2015
 
Graduation for the Class of 2015 will take place on Saturday June 13th, 2015. The commencement ceremony will begin promptly at 9:00am in the A.T. Howard Memorial stadium on campus.

 
Sports Concussion Education Training
All middle and high school student athletes and their parent/guardian are required to complete an annual Concussion Training according to Prince William County Public School Policy 759. As there are sufficient differences in the way concussions will be handled at the middle school and high school levels, a parent having children in both middle and high schools are required to attend both a middle and a high school presentation. Students and their parent/guardian have two ways to receive this concussion training. 1.)Face to Face Training- High school parents and students who are entering 9th grade and trying out for a sport for their first time in high school or are new to Prince William County Public schools must attend a face to face concussion training at their respective school. Click here for the face to face meeting schedule. 2.)Online training- Beginning June 22, 2014, parents and students who have already attended a face-to-face training may take this year’s mandatory concussion training online. Rising 6th grade and 9th grade students and students new to Prince William County Public Schools are not eligible for the Online Training. Start the online training.
